Delivery

Spend over £100.00 and there will be no charge for standard second class delivery. Goods will be despatched by standard Royal Mail service and you can expect them usually within 2-5 days from our posting.

We will always post your goods as soon as we have had your order (Assuming they are in stock; which they usually are) and payment has been made. You can place your orders up to 1600 and we will get them out that day whenever possible.

But please do remember that if you send us a cheque or use a PayPal cheque then we won't be able to send anything out until the payment has cleared. This can take up to 7 days with PayPal and sometimes longer with the clearing banks and Building Societies.

If time is an issue or you want a speedy dispatch you can select next day delivery as an option at extra cost.

We will then send the goods by "next day" delivery. This is where the Royal Mail guarantees they will deliver before 1300hrs on the day after posting. Note however that they don't include Saturdays in that promise. Nor, I should imagine, Public Holidays.

Our website has only been running as an ecommerce shop for a few months so we haven't yet hit the levels of business where it would be appropriate for us to use a courier service. As soon as it does we will be using a courier service, which should speed up delivery and hopefully reduce the cost.

Green is Good

One thing we have noticed as a purchaser is that lots of our suppliers send us stock in brand new cardboard boxes that we then throw away or otherwise have to dispose of. This then means that our supplier has to buy new boxes and somewhere yet another tree bites the dust.

We have made the decision to recycle suppliers packaging wherever we can. This will hopefully have the effect of saving some tree somewhere and keeping our overheads down fractionally.

It also means that you, the end customer, will sometimes get your order in a pre used box that may have branding by A N Other on it.

I hope that you don't mind this and if perhaps you are an ardent ebayer then you too might reuse the packaging your goods have come in.

It's probably not a massive contribution by us but every little helps as they say.
